WR Carpenter (PNG) recently signed a 5-year sponsorship deal with the Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League with exclusive rights as the Official Vehicle Partner.

 

The sponsorship is supported by 3 of WRC PNGs leading brands – Boroko Motors, Globe and National No1.

 

WRC PNG has committed to 3x Proton X70 vehicles and 4x Mitsubishi L200 Triton Utes.

The deal will see vehicles from Boroko Motors, IT gear from Daltron, furniture from Courts and loan or lease options from Budget Rent-A-Car.

 

CEO for PNG Rugby Football League, Stanley Hondina, when announcing the partnership, highlighted the long-standing partnership both parties have had over a long period of time.

 

“WR Carpenter is not new to rugby league in PNG. They have supported us over the past and we acknowledge their contribution to rugby league and nation building as a whole.”

 

“This 5-year partnership will allow us to deliver our plans nationwide, and provide the WR Carpenter Group, through its different companies, branding opportunities nationwide through the game of rugby league.” concluded Hondina.

 

WR Carpenter Group automotive and transport business unit Boroko Motors presented the vehicles to signify the partnership commencement.

This partnership deal will see WR Carpenter (PNG) Ltd acknowledged as a Partner Sponsor to the Digicel ExxonMobil Cup and Official Vehicle Partner to the PNGRFL.
