Job Title: Senior Network Engineer / Team Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Network Engineer / Team Lead with a strong background in Cisco and Juniper technologies, SD-WAN, and network solution design. The ideal candidate will have experience leading teams, managing complex projects, and working with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto and Cisco ASA. Knowledge of BRAS, MSAN, and DSLAM is highly advantageous. This role requires both technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee the design, integration, and maintenance of secure and reliable network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Project Management: Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, ensuring successful project delivery, resource management, and alignment with business objectives.

Network Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain advanced network solutions using Cisco and Juniper technologies, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and security.

SD-WAN Integration: Oversee the deployment and integration of SD-WAN solutions, enhancing connectivity and performance across multiple locations.

Firewall Management: Manage and optimize firewall configurations (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA), ensuring robust network security and adherence to industry standards.

Solution Design: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to assess needs, create customized network designs, and produce detailed technical documentation.

Network Integration: Supervise the integration of routing, switching, SD-WAN, and firewall technologies, ensuring smooth operation across all infrastructure components.

Broadband Technologies: Utilize knowledge of BRAS, MSAN, and DSLAM to improve network architecture and deployment strategies.

Monitoring and Optimization: Lead efforts to monitor and troubleshoot network performance, ensuring scalability and efficiency using advanced monitoring tools.

Client and Vendor Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, ensuring seamless communication, technical support, and project execution.

Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, topologies, and project plans, ensuring compliance with security policies and industry regulations.

Ownership and Accountability: Take full responsibility for project outcomes, network operations, and team performance, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience:
-
5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Cisco and Juniper technologies.

Proven experience leading teams and managing network projects.

Extensive experience with SD-WAN design, deployment, and integration.

Strong experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).

Knowledge of BRAS, MSAN, and DSLAM is a significant advantage.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.

Proficiency in SD-WAN technologies (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Juniper Contrail).

Strong understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS) and VPN technologies.

In-depth knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

Certifications: Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE) and/or Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIP, JNCIE) certifications are preferred.

Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and a high level of accountability in managing teams and network infrastructure.
